Bi-Weekly Status Reports

Status Report

Reporting Period: June16–July 7, 2025

Project Overview

The team concentrated on aligning all major report components, prepping the executive deliverables, and escalating the urgency for upcoming deadlines. The past two weeks saw due dates adjusted for nearly all critical deliverables to allow finalization and concentrated review cycles. Key priority items—including the governance framework, scorecard, and benchmarking—were flagged as urgent, and a comprehensive effort is in motion to prepare materials for executive presentation.

What Has Been Accomplished So Far

Key Achievements and Goals
  • Drafts Ready for Review: The “High-level IT governance framework” content was confirmed as built and ready for leadership review.

  • Team Mobilization on Core Deliverables: All primary deliverable tasks (governance, staffing and network strategy, benchmarking, scorecard, and Grey Matter insights) are in active progress and now carry urgent priority for targeted completion.

  • Milestone Coordination: The executive leadership presentation and related revision weeks are scheduled, with all dependent and blocking task relationships updated and visible.

  • Progress on Change Management Guidance: Responsibilities and schedules have been clarified, with draft preparation underway for detailed guidance on organizational readiness and culture-shifting.

What's Upcoming

  • Draft Presentation: Finalization and delivery of the executive leadership presentation, synthesizing all findings and recommendations.

  • Deliverable Finalization: Coordinated revision week, followed by formal “delivered” status for each main project component (benchmarking report, staffing/network recommendations, governance framework, scorecard, and Grey Matter summary).

  • Change Management & Activation Workshop: Completion and presentation of detailed change management guidance, leading into the final in-person activation workshop with stakeholders.

  • Capstone Deliverables: Drafting and delivery of the “Manifesto for the Future of CSN IT,” articulating a unified vision and guiding principles for the institution’s IT transformation.

  • Project Wrap-up: Post-delivery activities including documentation handoff, archiving, and a sunset review to capture lessons learned.

Concerns and Blockers

  • No explicit blockers are identified in the task data; however, the universal escalation of due dates and task priorities indicates tight timelines and the need for focused finalization.

  • The effort to synchronize all key deliverables around the same due date period (July 9–24) heightens the risk of crunch and potential bottlenecks if workstreams slip.

Decisions Needed

  • ✅ Confirm final review and readiness of the “High-level IT governance framework” and supporting deliverables for the executive session.

  • ❓ Ensure all supporting analysis and scorecards reflect CSN stakeholder feedback before turnaround and presentation.

Overall Status

All major deliverables are on an accelerated and urgent timeline, with the team mobilized for final review, integration, and client delivery. Drafts are in hand, milestone dependencies are actively managed, and the project is entering its final phase of executive engagement and handoff.
